Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Signs 2025 Tax Bill into Law
Effective October 1, 2025, Florida eliminates the state sales tax on the lease of commercial real property. Florida has historically been one of the few states to impose this tax. This repeal is intended to lower occupancy costs for businesses.
